Valentine's Day Doings

With Valentine's Day came our Valentine's Day shopping! Since it was all rainy and ugh that day, we couldn't do what we had planned (picnic at Botanical Gardens, walk along the wharf at Woollomooloo), so we settled for walking around the city and shopping!

We first went to Capitol and tried our luck with their claw machines, but failed - so off to Prize Paradize we go! They had a promotion going on: if you and your partner kiss between the 9th and 15th of Feb, you get a free toy! So we did it - and got this:

Then, we walked around and played a few claw machine games and won these!

AKA (the Chinese-run, Japanese cosmetics store) was our next destination and la boyfriend bought me something from here (I finally got something for here after constantly visiting and never buying!).

At this random Asian store, my boyfriend pointed out this great grey wool coat that will be perfect for winter! I tried it on and loved it!

Then, after some more walking, we visited the Harajuku store (run by Koreans >_<) and I found a pair of shorts that were HIGHLY reminiscent of the pair I wanted from Alexander Wang! I tried to leave the store as I knew if I tried it on, I would want it! But my boyfriend was persistent and got me to have a go.
They were a tad too big, but I, again, was in love! After a (long) while, he caved and bought them for me (as an I.O.U - I have many of them)

We had our dinner reservations at Newtown's 'Atom Thai' and oh goodness! It must have been one of the best ever restaurants I have ever been to! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were the friendliest bunch I've met! They cater to your every need and make you feel extremely cheerful every minute of your dining time! YOU must go there (130 King St, Newtown)!
